Last weekend I was part of the HB4FE contest team. It was a fantastic time. We had a lot of fun and many QSO's.

Antenna Farm. Shack was about 20m under the surface.

SP-DX Contest 2008

Together with HB9EGZ (Kaspar) we work as Multi-One in this contest. We work from the Swissair clubstation with the call HB9VC. We made 399 QSO´s and about 68000 points. No QSO´s on 15m and 10m and only a few on 20m. It is not a good distance between Poland and Switzerland for the higher bands.
Next time I will be in the air in Helvetia Contest at HB4FE in multi category.

HB9VC in SP DX Contest 2008

Together with HB9EGZ (Kaspar) and HB9CET (Peter) and I will be QRV in SP DX Contest 2008. We will work from the Swissair Clubstation HB9VC near Zürich Airport.

We hope to work a lot of SP Station.

Iceland DXpedition of DL3PS

OK RTTY Contest 2008

2nd contest from beautiful Switzerland.
Now I took part in OK DX RTTY Contest.
Contest period is 24 hours and I worked in category single OP, single Band 40m, low power with 100w.
Here are my claimed score:
QSO's 227, Countries 41 and 26 Stations from OK.
Score: 49848 points

Same equipment as in last contest.
ICOM IC 706MKIIG and 40m monoband dipole.
The ICOM workes very good in RTTY. No overheating problems.

I was concerned about the czechia stations only worked 26 of them. Where are they???? I think that was not very much. I hope next year I will worke more.

CQWW CW 2008

Take part in CQWW CW 2007.
Here are my claimed score:
634 QSO's, 98 Countries and 22 Zones = 108.000 points.
I worked single band 40m with 100 Watt on a dipole.
Rig was an ICOM IC 706 MKIIG.
Conditions seemed to be very good. Had worked 3 Station from New Zealand and some from Australia. Loudest DX Signal, as usual, was HC8N from Galapagos Isl. I want to know how this guys bring such a loud signal in the air. Do they have a relay Station in Europe? :-)
Next contest will be OK/OM RTTY Contest.

New Amateur Radio Station

Since November, 22th 2007 I own a new Callsign.
Now I'm also on the air with the call HB9EHQ in Switzerland.

First QSO was made a day later with R3AR Toivo in Moscow on 40m.

I hope to work you all :-)
